Saludos my friends in Florida
and beyond!
To say that the last few months have been
a whirlwind, would be a severe understatement – we hosted the 4th Annual Cuban
Sandwich Festival in March of 2015, and it
was again a huge success! This year’s schedule included a Smackdown event in Miami,
followed by the National Cuban Sandwich
City2City Showdown in Ybor City, Florida
where record breaking crowds came out to
see who makes the BEST Cuban Sandwiches
in the world! This year, we had Restaurants
compete from all over Florida! Guest were
also able to watch as we made the BIGGEST
Cuban Sandwich in the World, a sandwich
that measured 100 feet –and fed over 400
homeless people!
I am excited to tell you all that for the next
Cuban Sandwich Festival season, we will be
hosting Smackdown events (Semi-Finals) in
Orlando, Jacksonville, Ft. Myers and again
in Miami/South Florida! Restaurants, followed by the 5th Anniversary Celebration of
the BIG Festival in March of 2016.
