Latin Times Interview with Writer/Director Fredgy Noël Congratulations to Tiara Biggs Reaching for dreams, despite the obstacles! I'm team MOM, I got pregnant during my Jr year in High School, yes, it was earlier than I anticipated but my pregnancy didn't stop me from achieving my goals. I withdrew from Freedom and attended Gary adult High School. This program is developed for the teenage mom, and had an adjacent daycare next to my classroom, so my son went to school with me every single day. I didn't have to worry about who's going to take care of my son this program helped me tremendously, I also took online courses and I was able to get ahead. Unfortunately the program ended however I was able to return to Freedom High School and graduate with my class. I am now happily married and a proud mother of two! Victor Padilla: Please tell us about where you come from and your Family History? Fredgy: My family is from Haiti. I was born in Miami, and at 2 months moved to Haiti, where I lived for 7 years. Fredgy: I’m working on a few fun projects at the moment. This summer I’m shooting a documentary and writing the feature version of “Milking It.” It’s all exciting stuff! Victor Padilla: Who is your hero and inspiration? Fredgy: I look up to the fearless women who have come before me, and those w
