To Truly Walk with God

Genesis 5:22-24 “Enoch walked
with God after he fathered
Methuselah at 300 years
old and had other sons and
daughters. Thus all the days of
Enoch were 365 years. Enoch
walked with God, and he was
not, for God took him.”
a very deep and profound
relationship with the heavenly
father and through this deep
relationship we move through
faith and through faith we act in
obedience. There is a scripture
that says…”Obedience is better
than sacrifice.”
When God created the very
first Human being, he actually
walked with them in the garden.
Adam and Eve had an intimate
relationship with the creator. I
ask people all the time..”How
is your relationship with God?”
The usual answer is ...” Good, I
go to church, I talk to him once
and a while.” But, in reality a lot
of people don’t even know God,
it is only in crisis that people
want to know him and ask for
his favor.
Walking with God is not walking
in front of him nor behind him, it
means walking along side with
him, talking to him, listening
to him. Going to church and
acting like a Christian will never
get you to holiness, it is only
in relationship, understanding,
and obedience that we grow
to walk in the fullness of God.
When Yeshua, (Jesus) walked
this earth he kept in constant
communication and relationship
with the father so that every
step he took was guided and
instructed by God. Jesus said
to the disciples...”You shall do
these things and greater.” The
Son of God himself telling his
disciples hey I’m doing these
things right now and guess
what, you’re going to be doing
them also but more, WOW!
Now think for a moment, the
great things that Yeshua did on
this earth we should and can
be doing. You ask why aren’t
we doing them today? Why are
people just being Christians and
not walking in the power of God
like Yeshua (Jesus) did?
Mathew 7:21-23 says not
everyone who says to me,
“Lord, Lord,” shall enter the
kingdom of heaven, but he who
does the will of My Father in
heaven. Many will say to me in
that day, “Lord, Lord, have we
not prophesied in your name,
cast out demons in your name,
and done many wonders in
your name?” And then I will
declare to them, “I never knew
you; depart from me, you
who practice lawlessness.” I
remember when I first read that
scripture I was Gung-ho for
the Lord ready to conquer the
world, the Holy Spirit revealed
to me back then something
very essential, it is not what
we do for God, it is knowing
when to do it. That means first
and foremost we must have
Here it is, RELATIONSHIP!
That’s right, RELATIONSHIP!
With God, His Spirit, and His
Son. You see Yeshua walked
in the power of God 24/7
because he was in constant
fellowship with his father, Enoch
was taken by God because he
walked closely with him and
knew him. Can you imagine?
It is sad to say that today the
body of Christ, the Church, is
weak and walking in excuses,
lacking the very essence of the
Supernatural POWER of God
that Jesus walked in. why?
Because they are teaching you
how to learn about life but, not
about the Giver of Life, God,
not how to walk with God in
his supernatural power. There
is a formula that was given
to us since the beginning
of time, very simple…. One
part communication, one
part humility, one part prayer,
one part stillness, one part
willingness, three parts
obedience.
Put this all together and you
have a powerful Supernatural
walk with
