Fand those of us that grew up in the 80 ’ s , we can certainly recall “ Cheech & Chong ”., everybody had their favorite movie …. For me it was the Corsican Brothers . From their first movie together in 1978 to fast forward 32 years later to “ Get it Legal ”, successful beyond their wildest dreams , the iconic comedy duo Cheech & Chong defined an era with their hilariously irreverent , satirical , counterculture no-holds-barred comedy routines .
Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong ’ s phenomenal success began on the stand-up comedy circuit , which led to nine hit comedy albums and eight hit films . They broke box office records , shattered comedy album sales , garnered multiple Grammy ® nominations and mesmerized fans for decades . Cheech & Chong : Get It Legal is the followup to their hugely successful reunion tour , Cheech & Chong : Light Up America , where they performed together for the first time in more than 25 years . The Light Up America tour played to a sold-out crowd at the Straz Center in 2008 .
