Bill and his wife, Joanne, have been residents of Estero since April 2007. He was elected to the Estero Village Council in 2015 serving until his term ended in 2021. Bill was appointed by the Council to be the Mayor in March of 2019. In addition to being Estero’ s Mayor, Bill has served as the President of the Southwest Chapter of the Florida League of Cities( FLC) and Chairperson to the Metropolitan Planning Organization( MPO) of Lee County.
