& Music Festival
The Gift of Food project is a charity organized and run by students to raise money for the RCS Food Bank to buy food in bulk . Last year the RCS Food Bank in north Pinellas County helped an average of 4,000 people per month . Two-thirds of the food was distributed to children . Since 2001 we have raised over $ 140,000 for the food bank , all the money used exclusively for food . The Gift of Food has become the food bank ’ s largest cash contributor with your help . You can help again by :
the design , printing , and selling of holiday cards . In 2005 , we started an endowment for the Food Bank , planning to raise $ 200,000.00 . The endowment is funded through an annual concert called Summerfest , as well as grants and contributions . To date we have raised almost $ 30,000.00 . The ultimate goal is to get the event established , finish funding the endowment , and then have the proceeds from the event become an annual revenue source for the entire RCS organization year after year .

$ 1.00 donation * Tickets are for a 50 / 50 drawing to win half of the money collected .
$ 20.00 buys 25 tickets , $ 100.00 buys 135 tickets
The drawing will be on April 21 , during the performance . You need not be present to win . All proceeds raised by the event go to The Gift of Food Endowment .
