It is safe to say that in the desalination sector, clients are
looking to make more cost-competitive plants in the long-
term. This would obviously apply to construction costs,
in addition to the whole life-cycle of the project, and
involves lowering electricity consumption, keeping up with
production, and being more competitive in terms of cost-
construction procedures.
Abengoa is the international company that applies
