reported a
number of
successes in
co-operation with enforcement
agencies and regulators.

l Online store AZTVPLUS was
launched in 2010 and figured as
one of the most active FTA
distributors and resellers in Brazil.
Its business was highly organised
and allowed its customers to buy
the FTAs through credit cards and
online. Minor FTA resellers were

twenty years he has worked

his advertising background,
he also has a passion to
drive innovation through the
use of new media trends,
consumption and technology
in media planning.

Fox ‘TV Everywhere’
for Brazil
Fox International Channels
has launched FoxPlay in
Brazil. The video-on-demand
and live TV service is
initially being offered to
authorities to confiscate such
equipment. Customs agents in
Cartagena, Colombia, intercepted
a container with Moxee-branded
FTAs, as a result of training
applied in inspection agencies,
provided by Alianza.
l The training of Brazilian law
enforcement authorities and
awareness programmes
performed by Alianza on FTA
piracy throughout 2013 resulted
in inspections and seizures of
pirate FTAs, in particular at the
Brazilian border with Paraguay.
l September 2013 saw the
first conviction for FTA piracy in
Colombia. Camilo Andrés Díaz,
represe
