We hit the shore It was a very hot Turkish night.My family and I was preparing to cross the Agean sea.We were at the refugee camp in Bodrum.Actually we were staying in a small tent.We were seeking fore fredom.Was it there,on the other part of the sea?I was hungry.I felt tired. The camp was full of other refugees from our country,Syria.We were waiting for our turn.We would saiy by a A boat would take us illegally.We spent the evening on the beach.There was a small child around us.He was with his family.His name was Aylan Kurdi.His family was also waiting for the boat to arrive. we finally started our night trip. We all got on boats. maybe we should have seen the days when we could sleep comfortably. everything was going well . I fell asleep that night looking at the moonlight. I didn't know that when I woke up everything was changed. Suddenly I woke up screaming. the kids were crying. our boat was sinking. Everybody was scared. 31 I hugged my mother. she said I shouldn't cry, but I was so scared. that night, the coast guard had saved me and my mother, but I lost my father. the waves took him away. in the morning, the bodies hit the shore. a lot of innocent kids like me were standing still on the beach. aylan baby was in them too. it's like sleeping on a beach. he had a red t-shirt on him . I cried a lot that day. it hurt so much that day. we didn't know what to do with my mother. my father's death hurt us deeply. and there was the image of a aylan baby that I couldn't remember.
