Анна интересуется повествованем,
используя визуализацию. Она мечта-
ет знакомить людей с обычными веща-
ми, незаметными до этого. Anna is interested in visual storytelling,
in which the artist is keen to communi-
cate her fascination with ordinary things,
which are usually left unknown or unno-
ticeable for people. In her FMP, she draws
attention to the fact that the Western read-
ers know the East generally according to
fairy tales “Thousands and One Night”
and “Alladin”, which create quite indistinct
image. The East is a vast territory with va-
rious folklore and history. Some regions
of this territory are almost unknown to us.
In particular, our reader is hardly famil-
iar with legends of Central Asia. This pro-
ject shows a perception of the legends
of Uzbekistan on the part of the reader
who is connected with this region only with
interest in his culture.
Европейский читатель знает Восток
в основном по сказкам «Тысячи и од-
ной ночи» и «Алладину», которые соз-
дают довольно расплывчатый образ.
Востоком - это огромная территория с
разнообразными фольклором и исто-
рией. И некоторые регионы этой тер-
ритории нам почти незнакомы. В част-
ности, наш читатель мало знаком с
легендами Средней Азии. Этот про-
ект демонстрирует взгляд на леген-
ды Узбекистана со стороны читателя,
не связанного с этим регионом ничем,
кроме интереса к его культуре.
Представлены иллюстрации к трем
сказкам: «Конюх и Принцесса», и
«Бахадыр и Доно», «Кошка со светиль-
ником». При выборе рассказов автор
полагалась исключительно на свой
вкус, как читателя и любителя сказок.
Иллюстрации выполнены в технике ли-
ногравюры.Выбор техники обусловлен
тем, что она очень самобытная и ар-
хаичная и способна в полной мере пе-
редать экзотичность Востока.

Illustrations to three fairy tales are
presented: “The Stableboy and the
Princess”,”Bakhadir and Dono” and “Cat
with the lamp”. At the choice of stories art-
ist relied only on the feelings as reader and
fan of fairy tales.
Illustrations are executed in technology
of linocut. The choice of the equipment is
caused by the fact that it is very original
and archaic, and also it is capable to trans-
fer vivd oriental exotics.
