Additionally , in 2022 the Miller Family Foundation supported “ Project HEART ,” an initiative of the Chabad Lubavitch of Utah , one of Utah ’ s prominent Jewish centers . Project HEART , “ Hebrew Education for At Risk Teens ,” provides coaching to hundreds of teens in residential treatment centers throughout Utah . Coaching includes life / social skills mentoring , career guidance and educational tutoring .
First Presbyterian Church
Among the many contributions to faith-based organizations in 2022 , the Larry H . & Gail Miller Family Foundation provided $ 100,000 to the 150th Anniversary Restoration Campaign of the First Presbyterian Church in Salt Lake City . The majestic , red sandstone building , which was formally dedicated in 1905 , serves as a worship center and place for community gatherings . The restoration project includes internal and external upgrades to preserve the historic building .
