SHELDON
Sheldon is our most comprehensive range designed to
be economic, functional and to provide a complete
suite of furniture. There are a wide variety of products
from benches to sand play units, all produced using the
same materials. The range includes galvanized metal
framework which can be powder coated if required.
The timber is quality selected Redwood given a 30 year
treatment against rot and decay, and can also be
stained one of two standard colours or a specific colour
on request. This specification gives a tough durable
long-lasting product requiring minimal maintenance.
The galvanised finish ensures that the service life of the
metal element of the product is in excess of 30 years.
The Redwood is from a PEFC source; it is hard wearing
and easy to replace should accidental damage
occur. This cost-effective product group has been
used on many educational projects. Other timber
options include 30 year treated Douglas Fir, Hardwood
Iroko and Recycled Plastics in various colours.
Sheldon products are made to order with short lead
times and a low carbon footprint. We are able to adapt
standard products to accommodate any specific
requirements. To assist in the selection of products we
can bring items of furniture to the site for inspection,
which can be helpful for RDD meetings. We are always
keen to ensure our products are fit for purpose.
