Strengthening Boundaries
Privacy is another important consideration in many projects. For sites where intruder deterrence is required, Wild Thorn hedge from Elveden Instant Hedge offers a formidable natural barrier. Denser than most fencing and considerably spikier than barbed wire, it is an effective deterrent for would-be trespassers while still providing year-round visual interest and valuable wildlife habitat.

A Wide Choice of Aesthetic
One of the real pleasures of working with hedges in garden design is the sheer variety available. The Elveden Instant Hedge catalogue includes options to suit almost every aesthetic and setting. From classic evergreen species to charming native hedges, low-growing Lonicera in a choice of four colourways, to majestic walls of neatly clipped Laurel, there is a solution for almost every design brief.
And then there is the real advantage that sets Elveden apart: instant impact
Elveden Instant Hedge does exactly what the name suggests. Each hedge is delivered to site as a fully mature, closely knitted structure that has been expertly grown and carefully trimmed. With an established root system ready to get to work in its new home, these hedges provide immediate structure and screening from the moment they are planted.
Even better, they can be installed at any time of year. That means landscaping schedules no longer need to be dictated by traditional hedging seasons. Once your site is ready, your hedge can be delivered and installed, allowing the rest of your soft landscaping and garden styling to move ahead without delay.
For garden designers, landscapers and property owners looking to transform an outdoor space quickly and beautifully, instant hedging opens up exciting possibilities.
The Elveden team are always happy to discuss potential projects and help you choose the right hedge for your design. Nursery visits are welcomed by appointment, offering the opportunity to see these impressive hedges for yourself and explore how they could bring structure, privacy and environmental benefits to your next project. www. elvedenhedges. com
