The unique GftK vdw 850 plus Paving Jointing Mortar from NCC Streetscape, is the’ State-of-the- Art’, and designed for you to start and finish on schedule, despite wet weather forecasts, and even in in the rain. There is also no concern or worries about ensuring that residual water is removed from the joints, as the GftK mortars allow optimum use of wet-slurry application techniques. They are highly cohesive with extended flowability to spread easily across the paved surfaces and into the joints, where they displace any residual water with highly efficient self-compaction; and due to this, there is no additional tooling or finishing required either.
No Staining The 2nd-generation, water-dispersed epoxy technology is exclusive to GftK, and the resin is precoated on spherical alluvial glacial sands( fine no-fines aggregates), which are used to optimise the grading curve and granulometry, for the highest performance in application and service. This unique formulation prevents the separation and resin loss that with inferior products leads to the contamination and staining of the paved surfaces( even if they call it a temporary sheen!), especially on lighter and more permeable and sensitive natural stone. This also provides the high flow characteristics and selfcompacting capabilities, plus this high cohesion allows more water to be used and support optimum wet-slurry application, so it is‘ the wetter the better’ at this stage with GftK mortars. This is to the extent that this could cause separation and loss of performance with the other epoxy products on the market.
By selecting GftK vdw 850 plus you have no worries about staining, or the unsightly resin bloom from the 1st-generation epoxy mortars in damp weather conditions. There is also none of the annoying cement haze that you can easily get from all cement-based jointing materials.
No more wating for dry conditions and a dry forecast With the advantages of GftK vdw 850 plus, and the finer grade GftK vdw 815 plus for narrow joints > 3mm wide, you can plan to start, apply and complete your jointing and repointing works when you are ready and on schedule, not just when the fickle British weather cooperates! Get the job completed on time and with minimal final surface cleaning requirements, just rinse and brush off with a little more water in a fine hose spray. You can even keep working in the rain when you need to get finished- No delays for your jointing and repointing works, plus no loss of joint quality and durability.
