What does that mean for your project? It means no waiting for bare-root season to plant a hedge, and no waiting years for small, immature plants to knit together into a dense screen. Instead, you can achieve an established, natural boundary the moment the hedge is installed.
Because each hedge is grown and maintained as a single, integrated unit, it arrives with a strong, robust root structure ready to establish quickly into its new soil. This rapid establishment significantly reduces aftercare demands and minimises the need for ongoing irrigation. The result is a mature hedge that settles quickly, begins performing immediately, and continues to strengthen with time.
The benefits extend beyond speed and convenience. Elveden Instant Hedge has been developed with sustainability firmly in mind. Our production system allows hedges to be grown, harvested, dispatched and delivered with minimal use of plastics, no peat-based growing media, and no wooden pallets. For landscapers and contractors, this means there is little – if any – packaging to dispose of once the hedge has been installed.
In practical terms, that reduces waste on site, lowers disposal costs, and supports environmentally responsible landscaping practices. It also aligns perfectly with the growing emphasis on sustainability within construction, public realm projects, and private developments.
For designers and project managers working to tight deadlines, the flexibility of yearround installation can be transformative. Landscaping no longer needs to pause for the traditional bare-root planting window, allowing projects to be completed on schedule without compromising on quality or visual impact.
The advantages of Elveden Instant Hedge are clear:
• No waiting for bare-root season
• No waiting several years for young plants to grow into a dense hedge
• No need to postpone the final stages of a project until autumn or winter
• Instant visual impact and immediate privacy screening
• Rapid establishment thanks to a robust root system
• Surprisingly economical in terms of irrigation
• Immediate creation of wildlife habitat
• Faster progress towards biodiversity net gain targets
• Ideal for show gardens, building developments and public open spaces
• Minimal packaging to dispose of on site.
In short, Elveden Instant Hedge combines the timeless benefits of natural hedging with the convenience and efficiency demanded by modern landscaping projects. Whether you are completing a residential development, designing a show garden, or creating a boundary in a public space, it provides an elegant, sustainable and immediate solution.
Because sometimes, the best things in nature don’ t have to take years to appear.
