GARDEN DESIGN
THE NICHE BEE POST
Introducing the Niche Bee Post, an elegant and functional addition to any forward-thinking landscape design. Expertly crafted from British-grown Douglas Fir, this post is specifically designed to provide essential habitat for cavity-nesting solitary bees and the wider invertebrate community. By replicating the natural deadwood habitats these critically important pollinators rely on to complete their life cycle, the Bee Post actively supports site biodiversity.
The design balances aesthetics with ecology: it is planed and sanded for a smooth finish, treated with natural oil for UV protection, and features a sloped top for water runoff. A carefully curated range of hole sizes attracts diverse species. Measuring 240cm in total length for an installed height of approximately 1.8m, it seamlessly integrates environmental stewardship into modern landscape architecture.

GLENHAM CIRCULAR TREE SEAT
The Glenham Circular Tree Seat is part of the original Barlow Tyrie Glenham collection of traditional heavyweight seating, constructed from premium FLEGT-certified Grade A teak. It is robust and long-lasting, and a striking seating solution for use in larger gardens and landscaping projects.
This seat is semicircular and sold as two halves, which are bolted together in position using the supplied solid brass bolts. As the ground around old trees is rarely level, we recommend constructing a brick or stone plinth that extends beyond the seat to allow feet to rest comfortably. The internal diameter is 100cm.
Glenham Tree Seat
Barlow Tyrie has been manufacturing superior outdoor furniture for over 100 years with exceptional customer service, a long warranty( five years for public seating, 10 years for domestic use) and outstanding longevity. Some Barlow Tyrie seats are still in London parks after 60 years. Inscriptions and plaques are available for memorial seats, and security fastenings are available for all seats.
