THE IMPORTANCE OF DECKMARK ACCREDITATION FOR PROFESSIONAL DECK INSTALLERS

That’ s where DeckMark accreditation comes in. It’ s not just a badge- it’ s a statement. It tells homeowners and businesses that you meet the highest standards in the industry, giving them confidence to invest in you. DeckMark is an independent third-party verification scheme operated by the Timber Decking and Cladding Association( TDCA) and an annual audit forms part of the qualifying criteria. The objectives of the scheme are:
• To provide independent assurance that products supplied for decks and associated outdoor wood structures are fit for purpose and accurately and unambiguously described;
• To provide evidence of the use of good practice construction techniques in accordance with the guidelines of the TDCA which include any British / European Standards that may be relevant and;
• To provide specifiers, regulators, buyers and inspection authorities with the ability to identify quality assured products, suppliers and / or contractors through quality assessed accreditation and logos.
