Wykeham Mature Plants are experts in supplying mature stock for instant transformations, tailored to the site conditions and to the requirements of your business. Supplying the trade with high quality large trees, specimen shrubs, instant hedging and screening plants for over forty five years, the 150 acre nursery is located in a frost pocket near Scarborough; the Yorkshire-grown stock is guaranteed to be hardy and, as a nursery that has achieved the prestigious Plant Healthy certification, you can rest assured that it is free from imported pests and diseases.
A selection of large ornamental shrubs is available to provide instant maturity to any planting scheme. Instant hedging is a specialty, including a range of instant hedging blocks; each hedge block is a single, mature plant, clipped for many years on site to provide maximum density, allowing you to build a hedge, whether in straight lines or in curves, which would otherwise take years to achieve.
A range of pleached trees, grown and trained on site, as well as hardy standardtrained evergreens are available to provide privacy and screening, which complement and supplement a range of trees, including fruit trees, in sizes heavy standard and above.
