WAVIN BOLSTERS CLIMATE RESILIENCE PORTFOLIO WITH TREETANK AND POLDEROOF LAUNCH

Leading plumbing and drainage manufacturer Wavin has expanded its range of sustainable drainage systems( SuDS) with the launch of TreeTank and PolderRoof. Designed to help cities manage surface water more effectively, the new solutions build on Wavin’ s established portfolio, which already includes its AquaCell NG attenuation tanks and its end-to-end single-source stormwater management service, StormForce.
Wavin’ s TreeTank system, which makes it easier to plant and grow healthy trees in urban centres, will be on show for the first time at Public Spaces Expo in London( 7th – 8th October).
Lightweight and fully modular, TreeTank is installed around a planting void filled with uncompacted soil and features built-in pipework for irrigation and ventilation. The system gives roots consistent access to water, air, and nutrients while guiding growth away from roads, pavements, and underground services. It helps trees to establish faster, supports biodiversity, and prevents costly damage to surrounding infrastructure.
Launching alongside it this Autumn, Wavin’ s new PolderRoof system transforms flat underutilised rooftops into smart, water-managing green spaces.
Rainfall is captured in a horizontal attenuation layer, with sensors and connected weather data determining when to retain, reuse or safely release water. The closed-loop approach helps reduce pressure on
