CELEBRATING 125 YEARS OF GROWING IN SOUTHPORT

Established in 1900, J. A. Jones & Sons is celebrating 125 years of growing in Southport. From humble beginnings, the company has matured into one of the UK’ s leading wholesale nurseries with an enviable international reputation.
Based over seven sites in Southport, our production includes over 105 acres of field grown trees and 7,000 peat-free container grown and air pot trees. Lifted to order, our range of trees includes both native, fruit and ornamental varieties ranging in size from 6-8cm to 20-25cm girth, as well as a range of multi-stem trees up to 5m tall. Given our location, and being‘ Plant Healthy’ certified, we are able to grow a range of OPM free Oak trees ranging in size from
8-10cm to 20-25cm girth, all of which are freely transportable throughout the country by our own transport or selected haulier.
In addition to our tree stock, we also grow over 25 acres of shrubs, perennials and hedging to ensure we’ re able to offer a complete‘ one stop’ solution. For larger jobs running over extended periods of time, our tried and tested bespoke contract grow service can provide significant advantages in cost, quality, and availability to our customers. Being located just two miles from the coast, we are confident that if it grows on our nursery, it will grow with you! You can view our full range of services and stock on our newly launched website at www. jajones. co. uk As a company, we are proud to have been recognised by our customers who nominated and voted for us to win the inaugural‘ ProLandscaper Best Customer Service Award 2025’.
