EVERGREEN SCREENING TREES IN STOCK IN THE UK

Practicality Brown have a range of the best quality trees in stock in their Buckinghamshire nursery. This includes evergreen screening trees, both as standards and pleached forms, as well as elegant specimen deciduous trees.
All the stock is containerised and ready to deliver to projects over the coming weeks.
Their top five screening trees are: 1. Ilex aquifolium‘ Nellie R Stevens’ is a popular holly tree that has an abundance of red berries in the autumn and winter.
2. Ilex castaneifolia or Sweet Chestnut Holly is a medium tree with a distinctively pyramidal shaped crown, with bright red berries in the autumn.
Creating Privacy with Trees Privacy in gardens can be created using trees to hide or screen out an undesirable view; they can also be used to draw the eye to a specific feature. Trees grown for this purpose often have a clear stem up to fence panel height around 1.8-2m with a full bushy canopy above, forming a good screen above the fence line. This type of screening is particularly useful if the garden is overlooked by neighbouring properties or to retain lower-level exposure to an attractive wall or area.
3. Magnolia grandiflora‘ Gallisoniensis’ is a show-stopping evergreen with large beautiful white flowers in the summer, which can be up to 25 cm in diameter.
4. Photinia x fraseri‘ Red Robin’ has attractive bright red new foliage that turns green with age.
5. Prunus laurocerasus Novita( Cherry or Common Laurel) is a versatile, fast growing screening evergreen that is perfect for screening. email us at hedge @ pracbrown. co. uk
