RHS GARDEN HYDE HALL
TO HOST BBC RADIO 4 GARDENERS’ QUESTION TIME SUMMER GARDEN PARTY 2025
BBC Radio 4’ s annual Gardeners’ Question Time Summer Garden Party has announced that it will be hosted at the iconic RHS Garden Hyde Hall in Essex for 2025.
Taking place on Saturday 2 August, during the spectacular RHS Hyde Hall Flower Show, two bumper episodes of Gardeners’ Question Time will be recorded in front of a live audience where members of the public can join an expert panel for a host of horticultural discussions.
Summer Garden Party ticket holders will have the chance to meet the Gardeners’ Question Time panellists, ask their burning gardening questions and enjoy conversations on horticulture’ s current hot topics. There will also be a chance to join the Gardeners’ Question Time experts at the Potting Shed Sessions, for an additional chance to give the team gardening dilemmas in a quick-fire format. Visitors can also enjoy spectacular plant displays, demonstrations, food, drink and shopping at the renowned RHS Hyde Hall Flower Show.
Chaired by Kathy Clugston and Peter Gibbs, the panel is packed with show favourites, including James Wong, Matthew Pottage, Bunny Guinness and Pippa Greenwood. Matthew
Wilson, Bob Flowerdew, Christine Walkden, and Dr Chris Thorogood will also be on hand with expert knowledge and expertise.
Tickets are on sale now via the RHS website and cost £ 5 in addition to the price of entry to the garden. Entry to RHS Garden Hyde Hall is free for members and starts from £ 15.85 for non-members. Entry includes access to the RHS Hyde Hall Flower Show.
There will be two recordings taking place, at 12 pm and 2 pm. Both will air on BBC 4 in the following weeks. Guests are encouraged to arrive early.
