Nestled in the stunning Lake District , a stone ’ s throw from the calming waters of Bassenthwaite Lake and overlooked by the dramatic Skiddaw Mountain , Armathwaite Hall Hotel is the perfect location for a luxurious getaway .
With outstanding views of the countryside and set within 400 acres of deer park , this stunning hotel was looking to create a luxurious and relaxing space for its guests to take in the surroundings .
In May 2023 , the multi-award winning Armathwaite Hall Hotel & Spa unveiled the completion of its £ 1.5 million investment into its luxury offering and Trekker was delighted to have its decking products specified as part of the project for the balconies and terrace areas .
Set in close proximity to the main house and boasting a substantial floor footage spanning an impressive 40-50sqm , the new Spa Garden Suites offer seamless access to the hotel ’ s award-winning spa facilities . Guests can immerse themselves in an oasis of tranquillity as each suite integrates with the lush , verdant landscape just beyond its doors and accessible via a private patio .
With luxury and tranquillity at the heart of this regeneration project , it was important that this was reflected in the decking areas . The client decided that the Trekker Anthracite Woodgrain Composite Decking would be the perfect fit for the luxurious yet traditional feel of the rooms . With an area of 214m2 to cover , this product provides not only a dramatic visual uplift but is easier to maintain than timber alternatives and is more hard wearing in a potentially highly trafficked area .
This decision wasn ’ t just based on style , the practicality of the products used was equally important . With anti-slip properties , the Anthracite Woodgrain is an ideal choice for hotels and hospitality where the safety of guests is paramount – meaning the area can now be enjoyed all year round .
