ECODEK LAUNCHES NEW CAPPED DECKING SOLUTION
Ecodek , the leading UK-based manufacturer of sustainable Wood Polymer Composite ( WPC ) decking , is expanding its deck board range with the unveiling of Ecodek Evolution .
“ Not only does it enhance our environmental credentials as our products only have a short way to travel from factory to customer , but it also gives us greater control over product development and quality .
Ecodek Evolution is a capped decking that utilises brand new EcoTech TM technology . This outer layer covers the board to provide a highly textured finish that imitates the grain of real wood , whilst also offering enhanced protection against spills , stains and fading .
Underneath , Ecodek Evolution has a solid construction making it extremely strong , durable , and hard wearing - backed by a 25-year manufacturer ’ s warranty .
The new range comes in five stylish colours , from traditional light and dark brown to the more contemporary black , light grey and dark grey . There are two standard lengths , 3.6m and 4.8m , and custom lengths of between 1.5m and 6m can be manufactured to order in Ecodek ’ s factory .
Fixing is via hidden clip system , which means there are no visible fixings once the boards are laid , resulting in a seamless finish .
As with all Ecodek decking solutions , Ecodek Evolution boards are rot , split and slip resistant , making them safe underfoot in all weathers .
Their solid construction makes them suitable for both commercial and residential settings , especially when installed with Ecodek ’ s own extruded composite subframe .
Evolution boards are constructed from 90 percent recycled and sustainably sourced materials and manufactured by Ecodek in the UK . They are also fully recyclable .
