LECA Lightweight Rooftop Soil
Rooftop Planting is a growing trend in large cities where diversity is at the forefront of developer ’ s minds . This is the perfect Soil for podium and rooftop planting .
Years of research has gone into our lightweight , LECA Soil . Its composition is made up of screened , sandy loam soil , coconut husk coir , PAS 100 Green Compost and LECA 4-10mm .
This unique blend ensures the soil is nutrient-rich , has a good structure with the necessary drainage , whilst allowing adequate oxygen to the roots . This sandy loam Soil is BS3882 compliant and screened to 10mm .

Wessex ® Dutch Tree Sand
Also referred to as Amsterdam Tree Sand , this sandy Soil has been created for the rise of Urban Tree Planting in built-up cities . This was exclusively used in King Charles ’ Poundbury Project in Dorset ; a development created for a diverse environment .
Wessex ® Dutch Sand is made from local graded Silica Sands and PAS 100 Green Organic Compost . The particle size is 10mm with a PH level between 8 – 8.5 .
While allowing tree pits to remain free draining , this loamy Soil can also maintain heavy footfall and vehicle movements without compacting . The added organic compost ensures strong tree roots .
