Responding to the news , Richard Miers , designer of the Perennial Garden ‘ With Love ’ said , “ I ’ ve always wanted to do the RHS Chelsea Flower Show . It ’ s a bit like Everest for a garden designer , always there as the ultimate challenge . And although I ’ ve been in the industry for twenty years , as a first-timer here it feels like a huge success to gain a medal . But most of all , it has been a privilege to work alongside such a skilled and hard-working team - they are the ones who have made The Perennial Garden ‘ With Love ’ such a success . And of course , the better the garden performs here the more I can help Perennial , the charity supporting everyone lucky enough to be working with plants , trees , flowers and grass . This really has been an incredible journey .”
