Seventeen years ago our family business began selling high-end Italian lighting , and to this day we continue to retail at Italian Lighting Centre . On the back of this success , we expanded our family business into complementary brands retailing products such Italian mirror glass furniture , Murano sculptures and custom lighting projects . My involvement in the business goes back as far as I can remember ... I started out helping here and there in the office , warehouse duties , and serving our clients over the telephone ... A familiar story to any reader with a family business connection !
Eventually I graduated to client site visits , and with growing confidence and knowledge I started commissioning my own custom orders with our Italian workshops , overseeing projects from inception of idea to installation .

This quickly became my favourite aspect of the business : watching a client ’ s idea grow into a tangible reality in their home . Like many I did consider University studies , however after wrestling with the idea for some time , I came to realise that what inspired me most was the entrepreneurial environment I grew up in . With this in mind , and after countless hours of work I launched my own brand …
Luxterior was born out of my love for design and a passion for bringing clients ’ ideas to fruition , thanks to the amazing industry contacts our family has nurtured since 2003 . We are proud to collaborate with many brilliant and independent European lighting and furniture studios , with our primary sources based in Italy , France , Spain and Belgium
