inspiration from natural
materials, organic forms,
the interplay of light, and
a conviction that what is
functional should also be
beautiful.

ach sculpture becomes
the heart of an outdoor
room. Running on
mains gas or ethanol
they can be built into a
chimney, fire, frost proof
box or on to slabs, creating
an exciting visual feature,
particularly dramatic at night.
Her first designs, crafted in
steel, centred on the linear
shapes of traditional bonfires
such as sticks of wood and
matches. However, she has
since introduced softer
shapes which allow the
flames to flicker in a series of
full circles, to mesmerising
effect.
