The Outcome
Skelton Lake Services is open and
has been very well received. It is
considered a high quality “new
concept” in Motorway Service Area
design where visitors can take
a break from their journey and
relax whilst enjoying a beautifullylandscaped
environment.
The ‘new concept’ is where its
natural features (wildflower roof,
tree-lined approach roads, access
to the lake) are the building’s main
selling point, not forgetting the view
of the lake.
Brambledown Yorkshire Manager,
