You seem to draw a lot from environment and the landscapes that you paint never play the mere role of backgrounds: how would you define the relationship between environment and your work?
The environment is an everyday occurance for most Americans. It is the political landscape. It is an ever growing and constantly changing relationship between average Americans and the government that is supposed to be helping them. Most Americans don ' t realize that their government often works against their own interests, at the expense of arguing with opposing political parties.
