When speaking of my process and setup , I am not like a traditional artist that paints upon an easel or on a standard table for that matter . I find that my best work comes from painting on the floor . I have always worked in this fashion for as long as I can remember . It is sometimes as though I am one with the earth . I myself find sturdiness , control , and comfort on the ground in my home or studio both physically and emotionally and I would not have it any other way unless absolutely necessary . I also find the extensive floor space accommodating and advantageous for the layout and spread of my many materials used in the delegation of my artwork . From genuine Chinese and Indian Inks to bamboo brushes , full scale leveled watercolour brushes , to special texture initiators such as pure alcohol , sea salt and vinegar . Sometimes I find it soothing and selfinstructive do mix certain substances and everyday objects into the water and watercolour pigment , giving it certain qualities and textures that I have never before seen or heard of .
When speaking of the subject matter and primial identity of my work , almost always are my characters drawn either from life or by anatomic model . I find that both of these methods are extremely beneficial as you can dictate yourself the ordinance of position according to my own very specific means . The rest of my work is done
