CONTEMPORARY ART REVIEW
transports a total different message. So I leave it to the viewer to find his or her own conclusion. For me it’ s more important to deal with the subject. who is a very critical and honest reviewer. Beside the art itself, I share the results online to reach a broad community and to get in contact with people from different parts of the world with different cultural backgrounds. It’ s interesting that people so far away share so much with you. That’ s very important in times where so many people only point out the differences between us.
If people don’ t start to think about of my paintings, they are pretty much meaningless for them which is worse in my view than if they just don’ t like it. I would rate the importance of the viewer as very high and I am very interested to reach people with my work, but first of all I have to fulfill my own expectations and that’ s already challenging. So when I start with a new project, I am not going to think about a viewer perception, it would be the wrong approach in my point of view. It’ s more or less at the end of my development process when I am starting to think about how much more content should be added to leave room for the imagination of the viewer. The most important thing for me is to express a part of my self, which is impossible when someone else’ s expectations are the primary focus. But I anyway believe that people are looking for different styles and ideas instead of an old story which tries to serve a kind of common flavor. There is only one person who gets directly asked for feedback and that’ s my wife,
I have indeed some ideas, all based on the idea to combine a walk-in visual art with sound, smell and more to a multidimensional experience. Probably in combination with virtual reality, but I am very at the beginning of my thoughts here. Maybe this could become an interdisciplinary project with other artists.
Thank you for thoughts and your questions, since I work very intuitive I had to reflect some of the topics for a while before I was able to answer them. Since English is not my native language, I hope I was able to transport all the content precisely enough. Anyway, we can keep communicating over the universal language of colors, so feel free to visit my homepage or add me on to get updated with new projects. Thanks.
