, curator talk about it. As you mentioned, I didn’ t study arts, my background is more or less technical. I started to paint frequently around 5 years ago with mixed media on canvas, just experimenting. Within the years I have improved my techniques with acrylic on canvas which is my favorite medium, but I also try other things from time to time. Even if this technique has a random component due to the experimental character, over the years I figured out how to process and mix the colors to gain the wanted effects. There is no real criteria for me what aesthetic means. I just keep changing the things on the painting that feels inharmonic until I am somewhat satisfied. This process can last for many months and some cases years. Aesthetic for me doesn’ t necessarily means beautiful, it’ s more the coherence of the expression.
