CONTEMPORARY ART REVIEW methodically transpose geometric schemes from paper to canvas?
I sometimes have no clue what will end up on the blank canvas. There is a general notion of what I want to express and I start from random places with colours that might not even withstand the process all the way to the end. There are instances when I just start putting colours on and a form or idea jumps at me and I continue from there. There is always an element of surprise even for me, including here what to add or when to stop painting. A perfect example is for“ Singularity” which was supposed to be the piece called“ Truth” but I felt it was complete as it were so left it like that.
My style is not an established one, as most artists arive at one after a while; maybe it will follow but I dont stress about it. I actually like the freedom of trying new methods and experiment with them; thats why my body of works seems a bit inconsistent – because my mind is also likewise and flies in all directions.
