CONTEMPORARY ART REVIEW
students in which I have taught art too. I find it to also be a great method of therapy and diverse relaxation.
Through my art education, I was introduced to a very wealthy amount of famous landscape artists through time. Aside from the great appreciation I attained from these artists and their outstanding work, I began to question common exhaustion and modesty of the standard landscape that I was compelled to find a way and take things to a whole new level. I tend to focus primarily on my backgrounds first when creating a piece so that I do not lack any attention to the detail that will be later on seemingly distracted by elements of the foreground and of course in my case the primial subject matter. I feel that my works are unique in the very sense that some of my paintings are indeed landscapes in itself, but with a modern twist! I ask, why not tame to both very prestigious styles?
Whenever I am creating my art, I am always thinking about what others may or may not pickup or perceive after viewing the completed work. This to me is an artist’ s greatest pleasure.
Unless you can read my mind, you will never be able to know for sure what was going through my mind when creating a specific piece of art, unless however I was to tell you. This fulfillment alone is exclusively exciting as an artist, to hear what others have to say about the work and how they individually perceive it.
