When speaking of my process and setup, I am not like a traditional artist that paints upon an easel or on a standard table for that matter. I find that my best work comes from painting on the floor. I have always worked in this fashion for as long as I can remember. It is sometimes as though I am one with the earth. I myself find sturdiness, control, and comfort on the ground in my home or studio both physically and emotionally and I would not have it any other way unless absolutely necessary. I also find the extensive floor space accommodating and advantageous for the layout and spread of my many materials used in the delegation of my artwork. From genuine Chinese and Indian Inks to bamboo brushes, full scale leveled watercolour brushes, to special texture initiators such as pure alcohol, sea salt and vinegar. Sometimes I find it soothing and selfinstructive do mix certain substances and everyday objects into the water and watercolour pigment, giving it certain qualities and textures that I have never before seen or heard of.
When speaking of the subject matter and primial identity of my work, almost always are my characters drawn either from life or by anatomic model. I find that both of these methods are extremely beneficial as you can dictate yourself the ordinance of position according to my own very specific means. The rest of my work is done
