Sure. So about Promenade au pays du Mandala and Tout Là Haut, I wanted to create compositions which would recall walks in the Nature, if we can say it this way. And it ' s always pretty much my intention with my works. But for those two paintings I wanted to paint some elements which would seem taken out of the biologic world. And I would distort their proportions to make some bigger and other smaller, so to avoid any obviousness or reality in the image. Even if, while doing it, I don ' t think about it in those terms. I just do it and then I realize what I have just done. My aim is to make the viewer to take a plunge into the composition and to feel like he or she is looking at a landscape or an image which is embedded in Nature. But in a playful and dreamlike way. Because we ' re talking about Art and for me, Art should always lead us, little humans we are, to dream and escape from our materialistic reality. It ' s the idea to reenchant the reality. My major inspiration is Nature. The biologic one from which we are totally disconnected in the modern societies( because of the materialistic shift taken since the industrial revolution) and also the more cosmic Nature, which is where all Life comes from.
You draw a lot from natural environment that in your paintings never play the mere role of background: how would you define the relationship between natural surrouding and your work?
Well Nature plays the lead role in my work as a matter of fact. And my work
