a piece which invites another person to reflect. It should trigger the viewer on a intellectual and an emotional level to get in. A good artwork absorbes all of the attention of the viewer. Time and space disappear, only the relationship between the artwork and the viewer matters at that moment. Together you create your own world. It’ s very personal and can only be achieved if the artist was honest and the viewer is open to enter. Ofcourse I hope that my work triggers people to get in, but who am I to tell.
We would like to pose some questions about the balance established by colors and texture: we have really appreciated the vibrancy of thoughtful nuances that saturate your pieces they suggest the idea of ephemeral plasticity and even such a tactile feeling. How did you come about settling on your color palette? And how much does your own psychological make-up determine the nuances of tones you decide to use in a piece and in particular, how do you develope a texture?
I think I already answered this question before, maybe this question can be combined within another.
But i like to add this. By using varnish I can“ lock” the layers underneath and it gives me the opportunity to add, but also remove new layers without losing the layers underneath. I create texture
