CONTEMPORARY ART REVIEW you imagine a lot of trees, not only a single one. On some paintings I picture a small person, like the actual landscape comes from her / his mind, and she / he explores it in order to find her / his own place, which I understand as searching for a balance between inner and outside world, the real and unreal. Maybe there is something which makes PLACES close to Auge ' s non-lieu, but in contradiction- the places have got theirs surreal identity, they just don ' t exist physically.
