CONTEMPORARY ART REVIEW
the Creator of Nature . I am in awe in front of their genius and spirit . joy for me . I ’ m happy that I have this opportunity . I don ’ t know what would have happen if I did not have this 19 year break . I feel like I am reborn and have rediscovered myself . I am happy that the audience senses my feelings , my true love and passion to paint without looking for any additional statement . Obviously they are aware of the type of language that I use : genuine and they definitely are not lost in translation .
It was always interesting for me as to how the audience will perceive my paintings . I know that architecture admirers are a smaller audience than of other subjects . But even other audiences manage to sense my art in their own ways . I am so grateful for that . I remember the reaction of this group of kids for my very first watercolor painting that made me professional “ St . Eustache ”. I was not sure that I was ready to exhibit , but these kids were genuine and authentic , so I decided to try . At the reception of that same exhibition , a lady in her late 80s was so impressed with my painting that she asked me to explain to her the meaning of the big head sculpture in front of cathedral . It was so amazingly touching . I am not sure if she loves architecture , but she definitely found something in this painting that provoked her curiosity and evoked some feelings . Painting is pure
For me , painting is experimental . I just enjoy the process and plan to keep this enjoyment in the future . I will definitely continue to travel and look for more inspiration . Illustration was my unrealized dream and is something that I would love to try . I am planning to finish my illustration of Hans Christian Andersen fairy tales that I started in the beginning of my art career . But this is more like a personal goal , not a professional one . Currently , I have two paintings in Phillustration , ( The Philadelphia Sketch Club ’ s Eighth Annual Open Juried Exhibition of Illustration ), Philadelphia sketch club and will see maybe if my dream can finally come true .
Thank you again !
