Mark McAfee Brown representative of the relationship between emotion and memory . How would you define the relationship between real and unreal , between abstraction and representation in your practice ? In particular , how do figurative and a tendency towards abstraction find their balance in your work ?
My NightBlooms Series embraces representation and abstraction . These images begin with flowers and end with images that would never appear in the natural world . These are constructed images that in the end have very little to do with flowers and have much more to do with form , color , contrast , shapes , motion and the emotional compositional space in which all of these components co-exist .
How do you go about naming your work ? In particular , is important for you to tell something that might walk
