CONTEMPORARY ART REVIEW photographer as one could be, and that has always been my intention.
These images are,( as is most of art) constructed realities. In the Landscape Series, I am interested in simplifying and distilling the images into understated beautiful visual essences, to focus the viewer into seeing a purer version and vision of the landscape. Landscape artists have been doing this for centuries, and my art in this series is a new take on that older concept.
In my NightBlooms Series, flowers form the basis of the artworks, but flowers have never existed like they appear in these prints in nature. They are a translation into another reality of nature into color, form, light, motion and emotion. They symbolize botanic life seen in a literally new light.
