to translate the classicizing qualities of Chinese traditional values into a contemporary setting, marrying the immediacy of visual experience with the more static, into something more enduring, something more solid. I had made every effort to project my way of thinking into the canvas, and did not notice that time flied.
Let harmoniously, form and colors in themselves produce poetry. Therefore everyone could feel the sensation in front of a painting that brings us to a poetic state, depending on the painter’ s intellectual forces, which emanate from it. A real master translates not only forms and colors of a subject matter, but also the ineffable charms repose in it. So if the painting is too concrete, the poetic mood would be diminished; too abstract, many persons don’ t understand what you want to express. I always find the balance between them.
While clear references to perceptual reality, the tones that condense your visual vocabulary provides your pieces with an ethereal quality of your pieces. When we look at the immeasurable existence as the light we are struck by its unique atmosphere. How do you view the concepts of the real and the imagined playing out within your works?
I am impressed that the immeasurable existence as the light could strike you. Nobody told me that they got the feeling. You understand my work! I always want to force myself to do something other than what I know how to do. I think it’ s a transformation which hasn’ t borne fruit but which will. In my works, I like to use singularly skillful and subtle procedure, to seek renewal from the direct impression of Nature as much as from a kind of poetic thoughts.
The inscription on this painting originated from the Buddhism. It means an enlightened being as the divine one. As the deity is immortal, so it also means the forever existence. And the word“ light” in the description is a metaphor of everlasting life. The images in the painting embodied symbolical meaninges. The images of crane, pines, cypresses
