CONTEMPORARY ART REVIEW
You have been a professional artist since 2000 and you have internationally showcased your works in several occasions and they are displayed in many private residences throughout Europe, South Africa, USA and Canada including several public collections including the collection at the headquarters of the Bavarian Broadcasting Association. So before leaving this conversation we would like to pose a question about the nature of the relationship of your art with your audience. Do you consider the issue of audience reception as being a crucial component of your decision-making process, in terms of what type of language is used in a particular context?
To be honest I never waste a single thought whether a painting is accepted by the audience or collector. I portray imaginary landscapes which awaken associations of cold and heat or imply geographic contours without any hope of actual recognition. An invitation on a journey into an unknown cosmos, non-exsistant in this form.
Thanks a lot for your time and for sharing your thoughts, Klaus. Finally, would you like to tell us readers something about your future projects? How do you see your work evolving?
I constantly work on various different series or topics such as „ KOSMOS und EMPATHIE“ with all the LANDSCAPE paintings, „ MYSTERIUM ZEIT“, „ FUCK TIME | WASTE TIME“ and „ TOO EARLY TOO LATE“.
I know that everything in life, and therefore also An interview in arts and by my artistic developement, curator or evolvement, is in a constant change. and, curator
