would like to pose a question about the nature of the relationship of your art with your audience. Do you consider the issue of audience reception as being a crucial component of your decision-making process, in terms of what type of language is used in a particular context?
I like to think my imagery is accessible and universal to a wide-ranging audience, and I keep that aim in mind as I work. I ' m not sure if I would say there is any direct involvement between my audience and the work – there is visual experience, formal appreciation, and conceptual reflection, but nothing more complicated than that. I try to choose series titles that are simple and straightforward, usually a word that I have in mind with some amount of frequency while I am working, that I feel summarizes my main ideas while creating that project.

I recently started working on a larger scale( 36x60”), and I intend to continue working bigger. I would like to introduce new textures and colors, as well as directly suggesting skin and aspects of human anatomy.
