LVSA offers both indoor and outdoor shooting
on its two ranges. The indoor range, at 775 Garfield
Street, is used for airgun and small bore rifle and pistol
shooting. The outdoor range at 8474 Hwy 789 (3 miles
NE of Lander) has a pistol range with 25 and 50 yard
target holders, as well as a high power rifle range to
over 1300 yards.
LVSA sponsors Hunter Education courses
for adults and juniors, Basic Rifle Marksmanship
programs for juniors and women, Personal Protection
Courses for adults, Public Sight-In Day, Registered and
Approved rifle and pistol matches, and a junior division
for rifle training.
