Andy Elkin – 1990 Renault 5 GT Turbo
Having previously owned a GT Turbo, Andy spent five years searching for his ideal replacement. His patience paid off when he found this fully restored,‘ as new’ example. Result!
Dave Swallow – 2002 Subaru Impreza
Having always dreamt of becoming a rally driver, Dave treated himself to this‘ Bugeye’ Impreza for his 40th birthday. Years of hard work have transformed it into the stunning example you see today.
Franc Gregori – 1982 Ferrari 308 GTS Quattrovalvole
Ferrari designer Sergio Pininfarina himself advised Franc to forget the early fibreglass cars and find a Quattrovalvole in Blu Chiaro with a Sabbia interior. So Franc did exactly that!
Gary Mitchell – 1948 Jaguar MkIV
Having always wanted a car with running boards, Gary found his perfect Jaguar in Australia and brought it back to the UK. Years later, he met a couple who had used the very same car for their wedding Down Under!
Gary Price – 2003 MINI Cooper
It was love at first sight when Gary found his MINI, affectionately named‘ Jenny’, online. Now, appearing at the NEC as Gary turns 50 means the pair get to tick another ambition off their bucket list!
Heath Ellis – 2005 BMW Z4 MkI Roadster
More than a car, this award-winning Z4 is part of Heath’ s family, and he couldn’ t bear to part with it. He’ s constantly amazed by the attention it receives, even from those who aren’ t BMW fans!
Jacek Pawlikowski – 1956 Renault Juvaquatre Break R1200
This little Renault has a big story to tell, thanks to its place in the marque’ s history. With this example believed to be the only one of its kind in the UK, it’ s a rare sight worth celebrating.
Martin Smith – 1969 Dodge Charger
Imported from the US a decade ago, this Charger caught Martin’ s eye as a barn find just two years ago. Since then, he’ s restored every single part, with the NEC marking its first show since completion.
Nick Seaton – 1977 Triumph Dolomite Sprint
Sitting beside his dad on country lanes, imagining himself as Bodie from The Professionals, is Nick’ s enduring childhood memory. It’ s also his wonderfully‘ illogical reason’ for owning this British classic!
