Process operators generally work rotating shifts,
climb tall towers, work with chemicals, and must
meet certain physical requirements. Graduates of
the Process Technology Program may be required to
complete a drug screen, background check, and a
physical exam to be employed.
The Process Technology Program is recognized by
the Texas Workforce Investment Council which
verifies that the knowledge and skill competencies
required by industry are included within the
curriculum. In addition, the Process Technology
Advisory Committee reviews the curriculum to
ensure that current industry standards are met.
