One semester extension requests may be honored if
approved by the instructor and the Department
Chair before the expiration of the normal deadline.
A grade of ‘I’ also automatically becomes an ‘F’ if the
student re-registers for the course prior to removing
the deficiencies and receiving a grade change.
An instructor must record the grade of ‘F’ for a
student who is absent from the final examination
and is not passing the course.
