Lakeville Area Schools is a growing district, currently serving over 12,000 PreK-12 students in Dakota and Scott counties and cover 86 square miles including most of Lakeville, parts of Burnsville, portions of Elko New Market, Eureka, Credit River and New Market townships.
There are nine elementary schools( K-5), three middle schools( 6-8), two high schools( 9-12), Lakeville Online Academy( virtual K-12 school), Pathways Academy( 9-12), Crystal Lake Education Center( ages birth to 5) and Community Education programs serving early-childhood through adult learners.

PRIVATE SCHOOLS
All Saints Catholic School( PreK-8) All Saints Catholic School offers a challenging and comprehensive academic program that cultivates creativity, critical thinking, and innovation. PreK-8 programs are anchored by the teachings of faith and the values they strive to instill in each student. The K-8 curriculum includes all core subjects plus classes such as computer, art, music, physical education, and library. The middle school curriculum includes Spanish.
Christian Heritage Academy( K-8) Christian Heritage Academy is an interdenominational Christian school serving students in kindergarten through 8th grade with a 19:1 student-to-teacher ratio.
